A quirky basement bar, kicking to the strains of flamenco and best described as rustic technicolour, with its wooden painted furniture and Gaudiesque mosaic bar. Wine is served in little chatos, and the tapas are outstanding: artichokes filled with jamón ibérico, mozzarella with tomato and pesto and crêpes with spinach and ricotta among them.

In the winter and spring of 2004, I had the great pleasure of living around the corner from Ramnón and Carlo´s taberna. This is one of the friendliest, warmest establishments in Madrid. The food is wonderful, the wine is superb, and the service is excellent. Go for dinner and stay until closing..
This is a great little bar, ideal for a relaxed evening with friends or the other half. The service is efficient and friendly, and the menu is superb!
