A splendid pink villa houses this collection of naïve art, bequeathed to the city by the eponymous M Jakovsky. Some 600 paintings, drawings and sculptures trace the history of this artistic movement from the 18th century to the present day. Even those not naturally drawn to the style will find much to enjoy here, from the wonderful simplicity of Henri Rousseau's Portrait de Frumence Biche en civil through to far more elaborate paintings, such as Louis Vivin's La Conciergerie.
