Next to the Estates, the State Opera offers the second most dazzling theatre interior in Prague, which will come in handy when you want to avert your eyes from the stage. The quality of the work here is similar to the National, and the misses really will have you counting the cupids and caryatides. Just as at the National, the ballet bills are the strongest, particularly those geared towards children. Programmes are available in English.
