Wondering where Johnny Depp got those black leather boots he's always wearing? Bingo. Loggers wore them first, then film crews, and eventually the stars themselves. Now people shop from all over the world via the website, but the original factory is still here on the gritty Downtown Eastside.

Before finding Dayton, I was buying 2-3 pairs of shoes a year, spending $200-$300 a year. I've had my first pair if Dayton Boots for 2 years now, and they still have years of life in them. I just bought my second pair for when I'm on my motorcycle, and love them. I too had to wait longer than I would have liked for the second pair, but these are the best boots you'll ever own, which is why there's such a line up. They're well worth the wait!
like Andy I am out full price plus shipping..... and I am having the same frustrating time following up on it
I've bought boots from Dayton before and been happy with them, but my latest attempt to buy a pair hasn't gone so well. I bought a pair at the Granville Island store in June, and foolishly paid in full up-front. I'm still waiting to collect them. Good luck calling the store at East Hastings - they *never* answer the phone, and the voicemail box isn't enabled. Good luck contacting them via email - they never respond. I went around in person at 3pm on a Friday, and the store was closed. I think 3 months is time enough to create a pair of boots to order. I want my money back now, and won't be dealing with them again.
