Charming House iQs review Rate it
The latest addition to the Charming House boutique hotel group is as radical a design statement as you'll find in play-safe Venice. If it weren't for the charming, chandeliered porta d'acqua gondola entrance and the overhead beams, iQs' four suites could almost be in Milan or New York - though architect Mauro Mazzolini's warm but serious minimalism works well as an antidote to the city's frills and frippery. Be warned that the dark hues can make for a gloomy ambience; but in summer, this is a classy, cool refuge.
