Wetherspoon pub branches across the UK vary massively, from the dark and dreary to the genuinely spectacular. There’s the former opera house in Royal Tunbridge Wells, the bright seaside pavilion in Ramsgate and the old art-deco cinema in Edinburgh. But each and every one of them has something in common: expansive, affordable drinks menus.

If you happen to be a fan of Lambs Navy Rum, Bombay Bramble, Gordon’s Sicilian Lemon, Tropical Raspberry Corona Seltzer or the chain’s bubblegin cocktail, we have some sad news. They’ve all been axed from the Wetherspoon’s offering, along with 13 other drinks.

It’s not all bad news though – there’s a new batch of beers, spirits and liqueurs replacing them. The fresh arrivals include Cerveza Pacifico Clara, Stella Unfiltered, Au Vodka strawberry burst and XIX Vodka as well as some low-ABV options like Corona Cero and Thatchers Zero. More than enough ways to quench your thirst.

Let’s be honest, few of us go to ’Spoons for the food (apart from the cooked breakfasts). But if you’re in the minority, you may be interested to know that the chain has also adapted its food menu recently. Among other things, Wetherspoon pubs introduced a ramen noodle bowl, several new wraps, a ‘fiesta brunch’, a vegan sausage butty, sticky toffee pudding and millionaire’s dessert.
