As an internationally recognized dancer, choreographer and director, Faustin Linyekula lives and works in Kisangani (Democratic Republic of Congo). After several years of working in Kenya, he returned to DRC where he created a centre for creation and exchange in dance and visual theatre: Kabako studios. In Cargo, Faustin Linyekula tells stories of his country, stories of traumatized and abused bodiesand destinies... The choreographer expresses all this and much more through his unique and captivating solo dances that have already deeply moved many spectators worldwide.
