Gelaaati di Marco

This is the quintessential Gothic Quarter gelato spot. And it might just be the best ice cream in Barcelona. Gelaaati di Marco has a huge variety of flavours, from chai to gorgonzola, from ‘crema catalana’ to a stellar pistachio, always a sign of excellent ice cream makers. There’s also a ridiculous amount of options for chocoholics (extra dark is a personal favourite). And here’s the best part: as attractive and colourful as the display is, every one of their products, including the Sicilian cannoli (€3 each), is prepared with natural ingredients and no artificial colouring or preservatives. No one’s left out in this paradise of frozen delights. Essential.
