Hidden along a cobbled street in Palermo, the cosy Magnolia Hotel offers excellent accommodation and friendly service. After two years of remodelling, the early 20th-century property now includes eight rooms, which are all named after trees native to Argentina. The beautiful stained glass windows, quaint patios and a lovely magnolia tree are definitely eye-pleasing, but what makes this hotel go from pretty to pretty darn great is the exceptional attention of the employees, who are always on hand to offer directions or helpful suggestions for restaurants, or to serve you a glass of vino in the hotel's wine bar.
