Perfectly encapsulated in a 1920s-era art deco tower, this hotel with its glass-roofed lobby and chess board-patterned floor will whisk you back to the jazz age. While the rooms are quite small, they are also perfectly formed. In the on-site library, which holds 20 people, guest speakers talk about Argentinian wine (Mon), art (Wed) and history and architecture (Sat), and the hotel's eaterie, Le Sud, is one of the best French restaurants in the city.
