Museo de la Casa Rosada review

Open to visitors again after extensive renovations in 2007, the Pink House museum displays portraits, hats, mate gourds, cigar boxes, military decorations and carriages that once belonged to Argentinian presidents, as well as some amusing - and often quite pointed - caricatures of said heads of state by the leading cartoonists of their era.

There are some real curios too, including a black doll given to poor kids by Evita's charity. Tours of the Pink House itself were suspended at time of writing but should be running again by mid 2008.
