As a tourist some years ago, Chef Mun found BA to be lacking in decent Asian restaurants. Thankfully, he's back, and has opened a puerta cerrada, serving up Asian recipes with a Californian twist in a gorgeous Palermo dining space. Think deliciously crispy Quilmes-battered tempura, fiery fish tacos (Argentinians beware: these bad boys are spicy) and classic Korean hotpot Bibimbap. Guests are welomed warmly and mingle before sitting down to eat at the communal table, and Chef Mun explains each dish in English as it is served. It's very likely you'll leave with a stack of business cards from newly-made friends. And yes, it'll set you back a couple hundred pesos, but considering the quality ingredients and how generous the delightful staff is at filling up your glass with fine wines, these are pesos worth paying.
