A narrow stairway leads up to this intimate space, a little piece of Italy on a quiet street, where red and white chequered tablecloths, mismatched wall art and Italian tunes help pull the scene together. Inviting you to 'mangia sano, mangia italiano', the menu's great selection of pastas, creative sauces and pizzas ensures just that: good, healthy Italian dining. A standout on the menu (also in English) is the lamb sorrentinos in a creamy truffle and porcini mushroom sauce; and if you've room for dessert, the rich tiramisu or chocolate mousse cake won't disappoint. There's live music Thursdays and Fridays and an outside patio for warm evenings.

Our experience here was very very awful!!!! We were ripped off by the owners of this place. The food is bad, and they charge you whatever they want. You can spend 80us$ each for a simple plate pasta, not very different from the one you get at the supermarket and they are very uneducated and bad people. We saw how the waiter almost hit a costumer after a discussion about the bill. In our stay in Buenos Aires, we went to a lot of good restaurants and we tasted lots of good food and enjoyed the time there. But this place is one of those places where I wouldn't come back ever.

Food was average. The ambiance of the restaurant was quite nice. The disappointment was being over charged for wine. We were at Guidos at 8:30 pm and given a menu open to the happy hour page when seated. We ordered two glasses if wine which were priced at @30AR When the bill came we were charged 180 pesos and told by our waiter that it was after happy hour when we ordered. This was definitely not true and in addition he added another glass of wine to the bill as well. We protested but he didn't care. We will not return and would not recommend this place!
