Five 'P's - 'picadas (tapas), pizza, pasta, pescado (fish), parrilla (grill)?' - is the question with which Don Carlos himself greets every table. The parade of small dishes - from fresh home-made mozzarella to fainá (a dense, flat chick-pea bread) to whatever is on the grill - continues until you ask it to stop, at which point a sixth 'P', postres (desserts), will be offered, along with coffee.

As far as I am concerned, this is the best bistro/trattoria luncheon spot in Buenos Aires. Nothing compares in terms of cuisine, wine, service, and character, let alone price. There are not many restaurants like this one still operating in the world, so, my advice is to visit and see for yourself how great this place truly is. Cheers, R.M.
