How you feel about Reina Kunti will depend in part on how you feel about cats roaming freely in restaurants. If you don't mind the moggies, you'll love this cult Indian veggie restaurant which does a pretty authentic - for Buenos Aires - rendition of sub-continental street food: kachoris, pakoras, koftas and so on. The design aesthetic is beach-after-a-shipwreck, with pirate chests, wine barrels and antique sewing machines doubling as tables. Puddings are more old deli than New Delhi: round off your feast with a Simply Marvellous truffle and a sharp, strong coffee.

Great food for a great price! The lunch specials come with a main course, bread, lemonade and a little dessert for just 22-30 pesos. And I don't know when the description was written, but there weren't any cats there as of April 2011. I was a little disappointed as I love cats, but for anyone who is put off by them, they're apparently gone and everything was very clean.
