Thanks to local design crew Alter Ego, this Logan Square pizza bar looks like the Mos Eisley cantina from Star Wars collided with the local transportation department—seat belts, CTA doors and all. Nobody expects great pizza from a bar, so while we’ve had good luck with the meatballs-and-giardiniera pizza, chalk up any gaffes to the Jameson on tap—a shot of the stuff with a PBR tall boy and a slice of pizza rings in at $7.50.

Whether you're popping in for a PB&J (a Pabst and a shot of Jameson) or some pizza, this spot is a great bet. During the summer, you should definitely get the whiskey-infused ice cream cone—it'll change your life.
The Boiler Room has pizza, PBR, and a good beer list, but probably my favorite part is the ATM deal. You get a free shot of whiskey when you bring your ATM receipt to the bar. I usually do that, skip the bar (which is almost always packed) and head on over to Township, where things are more my pace. Regardless, Boiler Room does not disappoint on a night out just off the California Blue Line stop.
Pizza and beer. Obviously I love it here. The Boiler Room can get pretty intensely packed, especially on weekend nights, but the vibe is always fun. This Logan Square spot is located right off of the California stop on the blue line too, so it couldn't be easier to stop by, even if you don't live in the neighborhood. The Boiler Room is also known for fun nights like its PBR bingo, where you can win lots of cool swag.
