Chicago Craft Beer Week kicks off this week, and Begyle Brewing is opening its 40-seat taproom just in time. The taproom, which is attached to its Ravenswood brewery (1800 W Cuyler Avenue), opens May 13 at 12pm.

Expect ten beers on draft, including seasonal releases like Tripel Stamp (Belgian Tripel), Imperial Pajamas (Imperial Coffee Stout) and Kiki Cuyler Kolsch. Each beer will be available in a five-ounce taster, 13-ounce tulip and 16-ounce pint. The side door will roll-up and food trucks will stop by the taproom starting this weekend, or you can bring your own food in (heads up—the Roost Carolina Kitchen is a 10 minute walk away).

New hours are Tuesday–Thursday 12–9pm, Friday 12–10pm, Saturday 11am–10pm and Sunday 12–8pm, and tours are still held Saturday at 12pm (and it's a heck of a boozy brewery tour). Begyle is also planning an official grand opening event sometime in June, so stay tuned.
