The team behind Fountainhead has finally announced the opening of the Northman in February. The Northman will offer 18 cider drafts, six draft craft beers and two firkins in addition to a long list of bottles and cans. The cider-focused bar will take up residence at 4337 N Lincoln Ave, adding to an already great block of great bars in North Center, alongside Half Acre and the Bad Apple.

Chef Cleetus Friedman will focus on French and English bistro fare, with sandwiches, soups and salads for lunch and a large cheese program for dinner. Other dishes include rabbit and prosciutto roulade and Yorkshire puddings.
