World-famous competitive eater Kobayashi is apparently a Cubs fan. The six-time Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest champion joined the owners of Taco In A Bag and two other people who eat copious amounts of food for a living to devour a 40-pound goat with the intention of "reversing the curse" of the Cubs.

A little background: Billy Goat Tavern founder Billy Sianis was not allowed entry to a 1945 Cubs World Series game at Wrigley Field. The North Siders went on to lose the series, and they haven't returned since. That event has literally been the scapegoat for Cubs fans over the last 70 years. Taco In A Bag owners Pat Bertoletti and Tim Brown, both of whom are competitive eaters themselves, thought 11 minutes and 22 seconds of grown men disgustingly shoving goat meat into their mouths would finally put an end to the "Curse of the Billy Goat."

The Cubs have all but clinched a playoff berth this year, which has fans across the city abuzz. Before the Cubs' season is over, you can probably expect more goat slaughtering, thousands of bros in tears and terrifying Wrigleyville riots that make the Blackhawks championship celebration look like a tea party.
