Uber is jumping into the food delivery game today with the launch of UberEATS, which is already available in LA and New York. Uber has offered a couple one-off deliveries in the past, like paczki for Fat Tuesday and corned beef sandwiches for St. Patrick's Day, but now the service will be available each Monday-Friday from 11am-2pm. The downside? It's only available in the Loop and River North, though Uber plans to expand around Chicago as demand increases.

Each day, UberEATS will be delivering from two different restaurants, and each spot will offer just one item. You open up Uber, select UberEATS, then request a meal. We tested out the app Monday to order the pepito torta from Xoco, and it was pretty much just like ordering a car, as you don't need to input payment details and the food arrives in 10 minutes or less, which might just be faster than Jimmy John's. Each meal will cost between $9-$13 dollars, and there's a $3 fee for delivery, regardless of how many meals you order, so get your whole office in on it to split the fee.

Here's the schedule for this week.

Tuesday
Xoco pepito torta & Xoco salad

Wednesday
Freshii market salad with chicken
County Barbeque pulled pork sandwich

Thursday
Bountiful Eatery Santa Fe salad with chicken
Cemitas Puebla carne asada cemita

Friday
Doc B's Fresh Kitchen California salad
DMK Burger Bar #1 burger
