Sònia Sánchez: Le Ça (The Id)

Flamenco dancer Sònia Sánchez comes to the MCA Stage to present the North American debut of Le Ça (The Id), a solo dance that features live accompaniment from electric guitarist David Soler and vocalist Miguel Angel. Sánchez developed the piece after living alone in a forest for a year, composing movements that seek to capture the sensation of dancing when absolutely no one is watching.
