South Shore Summer Festival

This annual fest akes over the South Shore Cultural Center (a.k.a. the Palace Hotel Ballroom to Blues Brothers fans), featuring great food, local merchants, and a lineup of R&B, hip hop and jazz acts. This year, "Blurred Lines" singer Robin Thicke headlines the event, with support from local performers like Johari Noelle, Dante Hall, Queen JLyn and the South Shore Drill Team. Come for the music, or go shopping for products sold by small businesses, grab a bite at the festival café, take part in beach activities or go for a boat ride at the harbor.
