Downtown Sound: Active Child

Active Child is the stage name used by LA musician Patrick Grossi, whose lush harp-driven compositions have caught the ears of contemporaries like M83 and Ellie Goulding. Grossi will be premiering songs from his forthcoming album, Mercy, was partially inspired by his experience singing in a choir as a child. Chicago bassist Matt Ulery teams with chamber ensemble Eighth Blackbird to open the free Downtown Sound concert at Prtizker Pavilion.
