A wild sold out crowd fills day two of Pitchfork Music Festival to see St. Vincent, Pusha T and more.

The weather gods continued to smile upon Pitchfork Fest on a sold out day two. A little baseball diamond dust up the nostrils has been the only complaint so far, as eighteen thousand–ish music fans sucked down Goose Island brews and free Frozen Kefir pops (the pear is a favorite) while watching the most guitar-friendly slate of the weekend. Local garage rockers Twin Peaks kicked things off, heating the speakers up for the rowdy and emo Cloud Nothings and the sophisticated Englishness of Wild Beasts.

RECOMMENDED: Photos from Friday, Sunday at Pitchfork Music Festival

A broken ankle forced Twin Peaks' guitarist to rock in a wheelchair, which hardly slowed them down. Meanwhile, mysterious reasons slowed up Pusha T, who started his set of truncated raps 30 minutes late.

There was a refreshing and impressive amount of women onstage, with sets from the lovely Kelela, the bedroom pop singer Empress Of and the wild and colorful Tune-Yards.

The late highlights included the guitar hammering shreds of St. Vincent, the torso twisting dance moves of FKA Twigs and the enigmatic WWII psych-folk of Neutral Milk Hotel, all of which had the crowd tweeting excitedly before the batteries died.

So, nothing as mammothly hit-filled as Beck, but far more fulfilling and exciting overall than a slow-to-get-going Friday. But regardless of what's onstage, the people watching in the field remains a fun pastime. See if you can spot the Kanye West patterned skirt. So let's gawk, shall we?
