NYC's Skaters redress the Strokes' formula in Urban Outfitters slackerwear on their debut for Warner Bros., Manhattan. It's a tastefully scuzzy city sound, the East Coast analog to the stoner punk of Wavves, with occassional and welcome rasta curveballs like "Band Breaker" and "Fear of the Knife." Key chorus: "To be young! In New York City!"
