We prefer these doughnuts—which have a notable funnel-cake quality to them—dressed minimally in cinnamon and sugar, because when they’re topped more intricately (for example, with graham-cracker crumbs and chocolate and marshmallow sauces to emulate s’mores), they just get tacky.
