This upscale spot on a shady strip of Uptown sticks out like a sore thumb. It’s just as chipper inside, with the decor and music keeping things lively. Starters like grilled avocado salad with minced spicy tuna are tasty and stylish. Creative maki include a tom yum roll made with shrimp paste and topped with ponzu sauce, and a crispy shellfish roll. You’ll find an array of Thai noodle dishes, but your best bets are from the sushi bar.
