Owners Max Hertz, Jon Timmins and Adam Glenn sell a range of specialty bike brands (Cinelli, Chrome, Bern), but they also offer a ton of special services. From custom painting and powder coating (parts included) to custom wheel builds and classic restorations, the Bike Lane is your one-stop shop. It also offers a service called Fix a Flat on the Fly, where they’ll come to fix your flat if you’re stranded on the road within the city.

Curiously, I got my rear wheel stolen while my bike was locked up outside of here. One of the store employees came by while I was picking up the sad carcass of my bike and said, "Yeah, I saw someone messing around with your wheel." He locked up his bike and went inside. Not that you're really supposed to be a babysitter or anything, but you'd think employees would be aware of what was happening in front of their store.
Then again, before I had my wheel stolen, they provided great service and let me fill my tires up a few times and even tighten my cranks for no charge. Randy's right. They don't up-sell. The Bike Lane pretty much gives straight forward service.
These guys are great. They don't "up sell" repairs - if you don't need a tune-up, they will tell you! They are my one-and-only "go to", They stand behind their work. Prices are reasonable. Hours are awesome.
