Have been to this event a number of times over the years. Especially good for those who have recently lost a pet and miss the cuddles and the camaraderie of other pet owners. Lots of fun and interesting products offered by vendors and BTW - it's more than just dogs and cats. The venue is very suitable and attractive (I've never been there for track events, just for the expo, and I like it that way.)

We know. Your pets are your children. But if they aren't registered for the costume contest or another challenge, you'll have to leave them home. Santa's Village Azoosment Park displays eight critters-including skunks and bearded dragons. The Greater Chicago Ferret Association and the Chicago Herpetological Society also show off their living things. Plus there are dog stunt shows, animal first aid and CPR demos, and a performance from John Lege, a.k.a. That Guy with Birds.
