The foodies who own this Italian joint (that would be the team behind the brilliant Dunne & Crescenzi) seem to have the knack of giving people what they want. The little enclave surrounding the restaurant is known locally as the Italian Quarter and is fast becoming a great place to hang out for a glass of wine or a bite to eat before catching a flick or something fancier. Pasta, grilled meats and a good supply of vegetable dishes are what turn over Bar Italia's menu. It's cheap, comfortable and friendly.
