Time Out says

Devised by Wayne and Gerardine Hemingway, Vintage Festival features an array of vintage and retro music, fashion, film, art and design, with a market, 'Soundtrack of Their Lives' catwalk shows with Jo Wood, Pearl and Daisy Lowe, Sue Tilley and others, dance lessons, workshops and makeovers. This year's event features eight nightclubs, including the Soul Casino, Let it Rock, the Torch and the Leisure Lounge, representing various decades of British cool. Each evening, the Royal Festival Hall hosts a themed vintage revue: Jul 29: 'An Electronic Phuture', featuring 1980s sounds by Thomas Dolby, Heaven 17 and others, curated by Mark Jones and Martyn Ware; Jul 30: 'Soul Review' with Booker T and others; Jul 31: 'Hit Parade', curated by Bob Stanley, featuring pop tunes sung by guest vocalists including Robin Gibb, David McAlmont and Sandie Shaw with orchestral accompaniment. A 'Festival of Britain Sixtieth Anniversary Celebrations' event.
