An exhibition of works by the contemporary artist.
Working on an unconventional medium, Høibo’s tapestries contribute to a lineage of Norwegian textile art that stretches back to the 1890s, demonstrating textiles as a legitimate artistic medium for voicing one’s concerns regarding self or society. A series of salt paintings are also exhibited, which were created using Høibo’s own alchemical recipe of salt, acid and acrylic paint.
