Set up in 1968 by artists Bridget Riley, Peter Sedgely and Peter Townsend to support artists living and working in London, Space runs artists studios, residencies, programmes for young people, courses, workshops and events. Its gallery spaces, located in its Mare Street HQ, programmes diverse exhibitions by London-based and visiting artists. Expect to see work by groups such as artist collective Bernadette Corporation, writer and art activist Stewart Home and artist, theorist and teacher Roy Ascott.
