Howard Hodgkin: Green Thoughts

Don’t be fooled by the spontaneous appearance of Hodgkin’s work, this new series of prints inspired by Andrew Marvell's seventeenth century poem ‘The Garden’ are created through a process of layering various printing methods. Hodgkin’s splodges of colour emulate the verdure visions of Marvell’s famous verse.
