This retrospective honours the American photojournalist and his coverage of Hollywood glamour. Eyerman not only photographed celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Walt Disney and Kim Novak, but also produced iconic images, like a 1953 cinema audience in 3D glasses. Though the exhibition’s focus will fall on the 20s, it is noteworthy that Eyerman was responsible for various inventions that made it possible to remotely photograph atomic explosions and shoot pictures of the Aurora Borealis; he also provided photographic coverage of WWII on European and Pacific fronts for Life magazine.
