We attended The London at Christmas Walk in December - a tour of all the main Christmas lights or "installations" to use the art term! across Trafalgar Square, Convent Garden, Carnaby Street, South Molton Street, Regent Street, New Bond Street, Oxford Street and more. We really enjoyed it - the architect Ike is clearly passionate about London's great buildings and gives an informative talk with a good sense of humour. And of course, seeing all the lights is lovely to give you that Christmasy glow!

Marie Elliott - CIOB London

The CIOB London have recently organised the ‘Haunted Westminster Architectural Walk’ tour with London Architecture Walks on the eve of Halloween, for a group of 20 of our members. Having received feedback from all attendees, I am delighted to report that their comments were equally as positive as my own. The Guide, Ike Ijeh immediately grabbed the attention of the group displaying an impressive knowledge of the history and architecture of the Westminster area and also sharing some of the more sinister fables associated with each of the stops during the tour. Not only was the tour itself captivating, informative and extremely enjoyable but from an event organisers perspective it was also extremely simple to organise and I would certainly not hesitate to use London Architecture Walks again for future events. The professionalism and customer service was exemplary from the first call I made to enquire about the tour, to the booking of the event, through to the actual event and even after the event. It is with the upmost sincerity that I say thank you for an extremely enjoyable and successful evening and I look forward to organising future events in 2013. I organised a private walk of Legal London for my husbands birthday - so 11 of us set off from Chancery Lane for an amazingly informative, entertaining and insightful tour of the 4 Inns of Court with Ike our guide. Fabulous descriptions and understandings of the different architectural styles..but more so for me a great 'story-teller' of how London used to be and how the architecture reflects our culture vs. other European countries. A totally recommend this tour to others and Ike as a guide.

Posted belatedly due to being away. My wife & I both 80 year olds walked Clerkenwell & Smithfield with Ike on 5th May and thorougly enjoyed it. Ike is good company and full of interesting information, we learnt a lot about this area of London . I recommend this walk with Ike to anyone with an interest in architecture and local history.

William

We both enjoyed the Financial London walk very much. Our guide was very well informed, spoke superbly and avoided flowery language often associated with architects. The walk itself was well planned, with a superb climax at the end

Dawn

Enjoyed a very enjoyable Olympic Walk. Ike was friendly, informative and enthusiastic. Would definitely recommend this walk to anyone.

Leanne

Exceptionally good and we saw parts of London we didn't know existed. Entertaining, informative and a great way to spend the evening. We did the Paris one a week before which can not be recommended.

I went on the London at Christmas Architecture Walk. The guide, Ike, was well prepared and friendly and made the journey interesting and exciting. I was most impressed by the historical facts connected to the commercial side of London at Christmas. This walk is a must not only for tourists, but also for locals that want to find a little extra about London. I would definitely reccomend it.

My friends and I went on a Haunted Westminster walk for Halloween. Our guide Ike found just the right balance of history, architectural knowledge and spooky tales for the walk to be informative and entertaining without becoming dry. I would definitely recommend signing up for a walk with London Architecture Walks - the tour was an enjoyable and different way to spend an evening.

Myself and my girlfriend enjoyed a wonderful two hours on the Art Deco Walk on Sat 3rd Sept. Ike was fun, enthusiastic and well spoken. He was clear about his knowledge of the buildings and the walk was very informative. I would definitely recommend this walk and we are likely to go on other London Architecture Walks. Oliver

Do sign up for a London Architecture Walk! It is a very rewarding way to leave the tourist paths and get to see and understand an area of London you else would not experience. One of the highlights of our London trip!

MikeT

Fascinating skyscraper talk. Much more than simply buildings, this is about how London is changing including the politics and vagaries of planning with a rich history to back it up. Excellent!

I really enjoyed this tour of the Olympic Venues. As an architectural photographer I was looking forward to a busman's day-off and the chance to photograph some of the ongoing construction at the park. Ike allowed us to do that, but what really made the tour special was his knowledge of the park, the surrounding areas and what impact the Olympics will have on the East End of London. Ike took time to answer everyone's questions and the tour was well worth the money!

Alicia

Ike took us on the Baroque tour around St. Paul's. He was a fantastic guide being incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about architecture at the same time.We felt like we learned a lot from him as well as really enjoying his company. We would highly recommend London Architecture Walks!

Hannah

Did the Art Deco walk, some of it on busy streets but still able to follow and hear Ike. Saw buildings down back streets that you would just never find. Hugely knowledgeable about other buildings we passed on the tour. Ike really made an effort and it was a fantastic afternoon.
