Lynn Chadwick: A Centenary Exhibition

The prolific career of British sculptor Lynn Chadwick spanned fifty years, to celebrate the centenary of his birth this exhibition presents rarely seen works from each decade. From his early days as an architectural draughtsman when he started to make mobiles to the sculptures that would take the 1952 and 56 Venice Biennale by storm, Chadwick’s unconventional approach to his materials set him apart from his contemporaries and enabled him to devise new working methods. To accompany the works are a series of photographs by David Farrell who captured the artist at work.
