Curated London

If the future means churning out pointless bits of tat made of perspex and plywood all the live-long day then I don’t want it. I got that out of my system in Design & Technology class at school; I don’t need to revisit that dark period just because a 3D printer means I can do it quicker. This hotchpotch exhibition gives us a whistle-stop tour of the first 300 years of British manufacture. It then tells us about how important recycling is, before drifting into piles and piles of detritus that claim to be evidence of a revolution in manufacture. It would have made quite an interesting website, but there’s nowhere near enough content to justify a £12 ticket. It’s expensive and dull. I implore you not to bother. For more, see
