Tate Britain opens its newly renovated spaces with a day's worth of special events, screenings, talks and workshops - all of them free. Starting at 3pm, Tate Treasure invites art history sleuths to solve riddles and find hidden clues in the gallery's artwork for a chance to win prizes, including an annual membership. At 6.30pm, tech-fashion pioneer Emma Yeo hosts a workshop teaching punters to make their own sculptural headdresses. Then at 8.30pm, Salon London takes a cue from the gallery's chronologically rearranged collection with Chronos, a lecture investing the origins of time. Visit the Tate Britain website for full list of events.
