This longstanding Highgate spot still draws the north London crowds, thanks mostly to a packed line-up of live music, comedy, quizzes and themed DJ nights. The whole place was recently given a new lick of paint and there's decent food too, courtesy of Caboose – a slick street-food operation doing the dude-food thing. Keep an eye out for interesting-looking art exhibitions, too.

Went here with some mates and the little man on the door (think the owner) was so rude and obnoxious I would recommend everyone to stay away! Small man syndrome and a little old terrier by his side makes for a fun night tear up but not with the hassle! Stay clear!!

I've been coming to the Boogaloo for years, and it's still one of the best nights out in town!

Highly recommend this pub- reminds me of fond memories as I visited most Sundays to hear the then in house singer songwriter Bap Kennedy & band.

Staff were always busy yet friendly. Anyone with good taste in music would love a pop in & a pint.

An irrefutably legendary venue run by an irrefutably legendary landlord. Part of London's folk history.

Used to enjoy visiting during the quiter evening hours for a little night cap and some small talk with the locals, one night I was told by the owner to never go back again. No reason given, never caused any trouble, first time I've been barred from a public place of any kind. Very disappointing and I urge people to go elsewhere where their custom is actually appreciated.

I have had so many great nights out here. The pub has load of events on and great live music. Currently they are serving burgers from cahoots which a really good. Nice garden area.
