This is my local and I feel privileged to have such a great one practically on my doorstep. The Pelton is a "proper" pub; friendly atmosphere with a decent range of well-kept ales, reasonably priced. Good live music every weekend too.
I love this pub. Always friendly. Local boozer type place with armchairs to one corner tables all over and a fine selection of food and books. The outside area is great too and avoids the scent of tourism that Greenwich often gets a whaft of.
One of the best pubs in the country (if not the best) great atmosphere, reasonably priced, friendly, helpful staff, an amazing beer garden. its hidden out of way so it feels like a find! The best nights in there with really lovely locals!
Lovely, laid-back pub with regular live music and reasonable prices. Definitely the best pub in the area.
fantastic atmosphere, wonderful staff, delicious food , warm and cosy when it gets cold and always have really good entertainment. Its a hidden gem.
Live music, good food, lovely walled garden that catches a lot of sun. Perfect pub, no gimmicks needed.
This is an amazing pub with great food and an incredible staff. Independent music and a unique location give this pub all that other pubs wish they had.
I love that this local pub is just off the tourist trail. They are great supporters of live music and over the weekend there is always bands in the evening. They have a great range of ales on tap and it is a great pub.
Best pub for miles in this area. Menu is not huge - but what they do is very good. Good beer selection as well. Music nights great fun.
Have to agree with Wayne. He is lucky to have this as his local. What a fantastic boozer. Only wish I could get there more often. Nice vibe. Good beer. Good people.
The return of the back street corner pub. Live music, billiards, a sound menu and choice of beers including guests. You could do a lot worse if you find yourself in Greenwich and want to avoid the overpriced fizzy offerings in the inc chain pubs.
