  • I saw the negative reports on here before heading there for a friend's birthday drinks. I can be very particular about the places I like to drink but I have to say that Skylounge provided a pleasant backdrop for a chilled night out. I thought the service was reasonably attentive. The waiters and staff were friendly and good-humoured. It was not busy, just nicely buzzing, with a good view of the city outside, and good house-y music playing inside. The drinks seemed expensive, but as I only drank beer, I can't comment further on this.

  • I was taken here on a date and it was beautiful. Stunning place. Highly recommend, lovely cocktails.

  • Yes, the view is stunning, but alas, like many bars, restaurants, hotels and cafe's in London, the staff are mostly foreigners who can't understand or speak very good English. Sad, but true.

  • Feel implored to write something after reading the negative reviews! I do agree that I have recieved much better customer service at other bars. I don't come to this bar to be pandered to tho.. The view is just stunning. From Tower Bridge (and beyond), all the way round to the City. Floor to ceiling glass walls, and a large outdoor terrace (which does close before the bar closes). Cocktail selection is varied, but not excellent. Having said that, a very good mocktail was made for a non drinking friend on one occassion. Crowd seems sophisticated; everyone is dressed to impress. If you come here, dont't expect 'waiter' service, go to the bar, queue up, get your drinks then grab a seat or go outside. Music is great too, as it gets dark, some chillaxed house beats accompanying the ice cold beer and stunning view perfectly. Gents, this is defo one place to take the ladies. They'll defo be impressed.. Ladies, don't expect the staff to entertain you! -1 Star for mediocre customer service, and (slighlty) overpriced drinks..

  • DO NOT bother going here!! Extremely rude staff (The manager)! We had two vouchers for 4 people and a pregnant person... Obviously not drinking. He was rude when we asked if the pregnant person could have the entry waivered , but got rude sharp replies. We are a group of very polite girls. We explained that he does not need to be rude to us, even after the pregnant lady had paid and then we were refused entry! Clearly a man that felt he needed to show power! Now we have to get a refund on the vouchers and are taking our money elsewhere!

  • OMG DO NOT GO TO EAT OR DRINK AT THIS PLACE The staff are unmanaged and untrained and just about speak english. They ignore you when you walk in, you have to go to them. They fail to bring your drinks and food. We sat for an hour without being served. They ignored us when we asked to see the menu, asked for more drinks they could not provide the food on the menue. We ordered a bottle of water they brought an open half drunk bottle from another table!!! They ignored us Ignored us ignored us. It would be better described as a viewing gallery but bring your own food and drinks. Absolute waste of time and money !!!!!!!
