Poor service and very expensive. The lady bat the door is very rude and discriminative. When my gay friend went with 7 female friends (gay and straight) she told him that he cannot go in because there were seven females with him. She is so insecure of her own sexuality and gives gay boys a bad name. She should be sacked straight away.. Will never go back in there again.... Barm men are also very rude and expect to be tipped every time.

The original lounge bar and gay members’ club has had a bit of a facelift; it’s still a hit with bona fide celebrities and gay wannabes alike (Cilla Black once pole-danced here with Paul O’Grady, and don’t you ever forget it). In fact, now that Shaun Given, the original manager, is back on board, the celeb quotient is higher. The funky decor, hunky waiters, table service and airconditioning all create an atmosphere of urban sophistication, undercut by the suburban antics of some customers who get carried away on the pole. Earlier in the week, you’ll catch live singers and drag acts. The weekends are for dancing.
