If Alf Garnett ever redecorated heaven, it might look like this. Royals in plate, porcelain and photographic form grimace alongside sundry souvenirs of National Service; once a month, members of the Handlebar Club delicately try to keep their 'taches from drowning in ale.

Tables outdoors ( 4, pavement ), Babies and children admitted, Function room ( 26 capacity )Claustrophobic?? No way, this place is brilliant. Yes it's packed full of stuff but that is it's quirky charm. Especially when every other pub is some kind of bland trendy joint these days. Good music and friendly staff. Highly recommend it.
