Can't decide whether to head to a rooftop bar or a street food market this weekend? It's one of life's tougher decisions, we know. But now you can have the best of both worlds, because London Fields is getting a new outdoor venue called Playground & Proof, which has both a weekend market place AND a rooftop bar. It opens this weekend and it's not just for the summer, it's an all-year round, permanent venue and it sounds pretty damn cool.

It's split into two levels – the playground part is in the FieldWorks courtyard, where you can get your foodie fix at the likes of The Cheese Truck and Hector & Milo’s Ice Cream Sandwiches. There's also loads of shops down there, so you can get your hair done at Kennaland, pick up some recycled homeware from East London Furniture or get your hands on some new vinyl at Kartel Music.

If it's booze you're after, you'll find gallons of the stuff on the rooftop bar at the top of the Hothouse building, which overlooks the courtyard. Quiquiriqui will be shaking and stirring seasonal cocktails, while The Cider Box and Five Points Brewery have got your cider and beer needs sorted. They'll also be hosting events, weekly film screenings, workshops, sample sales and live auctions so they've pretty much got all bases covered.

Here's the playground:

And here's the proof:
