NonClassical

The composer/DJ Gabriel Prokofiev hosts NonClassical, his contemporary classical club night presenting innovative and virtuosic young classical musicians from the UK and showcasing the latest work from the label's releases. Featuring live sets from recorder ensemble Consortium5 (performing especially written new works by Richard Lannoy, Brian Inglis, Kim Ashton Kathryn Butler, Darren Bloom and Brooks Frederickson); plus original material and improvisations from the Mercury Quartet; and the Elysian Quartet performing Gabriel Prokofiev's String Quartet No 1. (Live performances from 8.30pm, with DJ sets from residents DJ's Gabriel Prokofiev and Richard Lannoy throughout the night mixing contemporary classical, genre-busting remixes from the Nonclassical label and beyond.)
