Carnival Friday with Mr Bongo Soundsystem

Shoreditch pub The Horse & Groom may not be in Notting Hill, but they'll be damned if that stops them throwing a weekend's worth of huge, great parties. Kicking things off on Friday is a brand new Brazilian-themed club night in the H&G downstairs, Bom Tempo, with tropical party banger specialist Mr Bongo Soundsystem taking control of the dancefloor. Joining him will be Cal Jader, a stalwart in the UK underground Latin scene, and disco, funk and soul dudes Samba My Arse. Upstairs, things get housey, funky and even a little jazzy via Crosstown Rebels' Taymor Zadeh and residents Stereo.type and Duncan Paterson. Notting Hill ain't the only one that can party like the Devil himself over Carnival weekend.
