Corsica Studios is an independent, not-for-profit arts complex whose ethos is to breed creativity and culture in areas of regeneration, which it achieves primarily through putting on some of the most cutting-edge club nights, one-off parties and gigs in London. It's a relatively intimate space, but that's part of the appeal – you won't find the globe-conquering DJ jet-set and their empires of fans here, but you will find an incredible selection of the finest alternative and underground producers and selectors on the planet: it's not unusual to find US legends like Derrick Carter and Maurice Fulton rubbing shoulders with newer innovators like Auntie Flo and A Made Up Sound.

Regular nights like Tessellate, Trouble Vision, Find Me in the Dark and after-hours Sunday party Jaded supply the committed clubbers with deep techno, minimal house, tripped-out disco, wonky rave and other edgy sounds, and there are plenty of ace one-off events too.

Brilliant venue – I went there for the first time last weekend and it didn’t disappoint. Fair entry price, friendly staff and most importantly it attracts great quality DJs. Great to have a venue like this close to Brixton (as opposed to having to schlep all the way to Old Street/ Hoxton). It’s a little shabby around the edges, but you soon forget about that after a couple of tequilas - highly recommended if you fancy a good night out dancing into the wee hours…

London's number one regular venue for house, techno & disco in my eyes! Amazing system and great line ups in some dark sweaty lazer filled rooms. Not for the VIP table crew or early home timers.

The closest thing to how a dance party should be. Can't wait to get back in there!

Guessing the haters here gave Berghain a 1 star....But you would if Sven said no eh.

Don't expect a high budget club. All the money here has clearly gone into the sound systems. Once you get that, Corsica is amazing. Tickets can be really cheap if you buy them in advance and it's got some of the best music in town. Never been mistreated by staff. Great atmosphere.

Drinks are as cheap as they get in London ie not.

100% desaconsejable. UN HORROR.

Wow...just wow. Seeing 6am after a night at Corsica is like seeing the first sunrise...

Corsica Studios is arguably one of London town's great (and unsung) venues. The fact that it is slightly off the radar is probably a benefit, as without wanting to sound like a snob, unlike it's famous neighbour up the road (MoS) it attracts a more discerning, partisan crowd. I've been to a couple of D&B nights and a couple of techno nights, all very good. My only criticism would be the last techno night I went to a few weeks back, which was a multi collaboration of various promotions, which meant the venue made use of a neighbouring building to accommodate. This space was by far the most popular, which meant queueing for entry, and once inside was the hottest place I've ever been! Don't let this put you off though, I think that was a rarity. Come and sample the much heralded, but hard to find essence of London's underground dance music scene, you will not be disappointed. One last point. Whoever in the management of this venue is responsible for the sound system spec, which cannot have been cheap (full fat, full price) deserves a medal. It's the one thing that medium / small venues tend to shirk on. Not at Corsica; This is one of the best (if not the best) sound systems in London. Tony Andrews would be proud of what He's done to the elephant

when you leave at 6, you suddenly realise that you've been in another universe for 8 hours.

refused entry for NO REASON despite paying £20 for tickets! being searched and providing ID (we were stone cold sober). This place is the pits don't bother! Bouncer did not even ask other people entering for ID. Complained to management who did NOTHING, not even refunding tickets.
