Time Out says

Those ingenious, disco-digging, equality-loving, English-Defence-League-defying dudes, the English Disco Lovers, are back with another night to get you grooving in the name of peace and respect. The project was started in 2012 by a group of friends keen to reclaim the EDL acronym from the clutches of the English Defence League, and has since snowballed into a series of actual disco nights – even racking up appearances at Glasto and Kendal Calling – with the ethos summed up by their "Don't Hate! Gyrate!" slogan. Tonight sees the EDL (the good ones) head to the Dalston Superstore with UK house legend Ashley Beedle and London party DJ The Lovely Jonjo lending their support, and all in the name of a local charity, Hackney Pirates, who provide additional education to young people that need extra support. Disco, of course, is a main musical staple, but there'll be house, funk, soul and other upfront party tunes to get the peace-loving crowd partying 'til dawn.
