Fancy getting high this weekend? Scrap those plans for a trip to Camden and just head east for High Rise this Saturday: a series of three simultaneous parties on three of London’s best rooftops, hosted by clothing brand Boxfresh.
On Shoreditch’s Rockwell House, ’90s house-loving ravers Waze & Odyssey will be blasting out basement beats, with more fiery four-four from Pedestrian and Henry Wu. Too hectic for your tastes? No problem, you can just lose yourself in the soothing, ambient electronica of Lapalux among the sky-high gardens at Dalston Roof Park (pictured). Joining Lapalux is rising producer Star Slinger, who mixes up UK house and hip hop. If that doesn’t satisfy your appetite for chunky beats, head to the Netil360 terrace on Netil House (near London Fields), where rapper Jehst will be rolling out golden-age UK hip hop vibes, alongside R&B act Alpines and bass ace Mumdance.
Tempting as all three parties are, you’re going to have to pick just one, as they all run on Saturday. So, choose wisely and hit the roof.
